Elmhurst, IL (November 22, 2019) – Early Thursday morning, November 21st, three people were injured after three semi-trucks collided on I-294. The accident happened at around 4 a.m. near Roosevelt Rd. The lanes of I-294 NB were closed following the accident. 

Initial reports indicate that one semi-truck lost control, hitting two other semis on the interstate. The semi then collided with a concrete barrier. All three semi-drivers were hospitalized following the collision.

The roadway was closed as emergency responders cleared the roadway. Local law enforcement is conducting an investigation into the accident.
