Chicago, IL (November 18, 2019) – A cyclist was killed in a deadly accident on the South Side of Chicago. The incident took place on the morning of Sunday, November 17th, at around 1 a.m. The site of the crash was located near the intersection of Stony Island Ave. and 67th St.
The deceased victim has been identified as Lee Luellen, 40. He was reportedly traveling west on 67th St. when he was struck by a Chevrolet Impala traveling north on Stony Island Ave. Luellen was later taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No charges have been levied at this time. An investigation into the collision is currently ongoing.
