Chicago, IL – 6 Injured After Hit-And-Run At 4400 N Lake Shore Dr

Chicago, IL (November 20, 2019) – Six people were reportedly injured in a hit-and-run accident on Saturday night, November 16th. The crash happened at the 4400 block of N. Lake Shore Dr. in Chicago at around 8 p.m. The injured parties included two children and two police officers. 

Chicago police reported that a black BMW side-swiped an unmarked patrol vehicle and continued driving at a high rate of speed. The driver was traveling north toward 44th St. The impact caused the patrol car to lose control, striking a Toyota carrying two women in their 20s and two young children.

All six parties were hospitalized following the incident. Local authorities are conducting an investigation into the accident.
