Burritt, IL – 1 Killed In Centerline Crash At N Weldon Rd & Auburn Rd

Burritt Township, IL (November 25, 2019) – One person has been killed following a collision in Burritt Township, Illinois on Thursday, November 21st. The accident took place at the corner of N. Weldon Rd. and Auburn Rd. Authorities responded to the scene at around 4 p.m. 

According to initial reports, two Ford Fusions were involved in the crash. Both vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when one driver veered into the lane of oncoming traffic. One driver was killed, and the other was reported to be in critical condition.

The intersection was closed for some time following the collision. Local authorities are currently investigating the accident.
